i'm going to start a "give the creepy old white guys their own broad" thread.

<sic> intentional, btw

They already have one, it's called "myspace."

BROAD -- not board!

dammit, it's not funny if you have to explain it.

It was funny.  I just don't "get" jokes quickly.

It was totally funny.  As was VHM's myspace joke.  I know they're somewhat incompatible.

I might pluralize the "broad" for variety.

EDIT: modified to delete personal information.

Yes, yes. It's true. He's as Asian as kimichi. You thought he was a WASP, didn't you?

nobody thought this but you.  also,

Oh, I was joking about Amy. Maxine Hong is my true authority on all things Asian.

mrs. kingston.  right.  hold on while i look for something sharp.

What do you care? You're not chinese. You're barely Asian.

I meant to post this, but I pictured Stan as looking kind of like this guy:

He's a comedian, from the Real World skit on "The Chapelle Show"...very funny.

And I don't know why.

he's better looking than i am.  drat.  :(

No, he isn't.  That was the best picture of him on Google.  A professional shot.  Most of the time he looks goofy.  He is pretty darn funny, though, which is the hottest trait, personality wise or physical, IMHO.

i need to work on being funny in real life.

Really?  I pictured you as funny IRL.  But you self-deprecate, so you might be funny and just be doing that again.

i honestly don't know to be honest.  i was a loner for a good long time, and honestly i don't know what i'm like socially anymore.

So I understand.  :(

But once you get to law school, you will be spending time with a) your girlfriend and b) your studies, so there won't be that much of a need to be social, anyway.

i wonder what it'll be like schmoozing.  :(

Frankly, it scares me.  I am more afraid of the social aspect of being a lawyer than of the hard work, difficult reading assignments, etc.  But, I decided that the most excruciating anxiety produced by the most awkward social situation is still better than staying where I am, so, I guess I'll deal with it.  You are not a schmoozer, I take it?
