I will be headed there.  I am going to check out apartments sometime next week.

Thanks for the advice.  I've heard good things about Poolside so I will be checking that out.  I'm also going to look into the parking situation and how good the bus system is.  If those are acceptable I might be looking into getting an apartment a little further off campus.

The bus system is pretty good... Poolside is nice. Also, University Commons

I'm headed to IU.  Well actually I'm already here b/c I did my undergrad at IU.  I've been looking at apartments, and Poolside seems nice if you want something close to the law school, but you can definitely find cheaper ones if you're willing to live a little farther away.

When I was at IU UG, I lived south of campus and took the park and ride to school from Bryan Park. If the P&R is still around, it drops you off on the south side of campus close to the LS. It will save you money parking on campus (which usually requires you to park at the stadium on the other end of campus) and you can live anywhere. You can find a lot of cheaper apartments farther away- plenty to the south of campus that aren't overrun by UGs.
