haha, just needed to get the board going.  i can't have a blank subject.  when's orientation for emory?  how's the city?

orientation BBQ is next wednesday evening, and orientation starts the next day.  So far I love Atlanta.  I needed a big city, another reason I decided against iowa.  So far I've done a little sightseeing, unpacked alot of my *&^%, and tomorrow i'm taking a friend to go see the Atlanta Symphony.  Think I'll be hitting some ghetto clubs this weekend.  But there are sooooo many Indian people everywhere.  I had indian food for lunch today.  The campus is tiny though compared to UF.  Its like the entire Emory campus would fit on UF's golf course or maybe its even smaller than our old lake.  I guess its a good thing though.

from what i remember, there are a lot of asians there.  but theyre slow and dumb.

i think there are a couple desis at emory, but there's a helluva lot in the atlanta area.  i'll find out next wednesday how the yellow situation is and i'll post it here

I think you can say this about Southerners in general, and Midwesterners. The pace of life, and thus the people, are much quicker in the big cities along the coast. Except maybe Berkeley
