Not that I am claiming it is the best, but the University of Miami has very good LLM programs in both Tax and Real Estate Development.  Miami is ranked in the top ten for tax according to USNWR.

I'm certainly not saying it is top 10 or anything, but I do hear good things about SMU's Tax Law and I think the school is well known for real-estate - at least in Texas. Just throwing the name out there.

LLM Tax law rankings: #1: Harvard, #2: U Florida. Haven't seen real estate law rankings. I'm planning to take tax law classes at UF before I graduate...

Actually, Harvard's not even in the top 3 for Tax LLM.

NYU is number 1, UF is #2, and Georgetown is #3.

From my understanding, NYU is the best for tax law and Cornell, Georgetown, and Harvard are the best for real estate law.

University of Miami has a joint JD/LLM in taxation. It's one of the best schools in Florida.
Destination: FIU College of Law or Nova Southeastern Shepard Law Center (part time)

LOL. I hear montana is a great school to go to also. It's one of the best schools in Montana. heh, just kidding. seriously though, just becaude a school has a program wouldn't make it one of the Best schools for that area, which is what the OP was looking for.
