what can I say? I'm proud to be a proud American!
One cannot conceive anything so strange and so implausible that it has not already been said by one philosopher or another. -- René Descartes, A Discourse on Method

Spoke with the Citi-Assist Loan people and they finally answered my question. It seems that law students credit scores are affected by the amount of money they borrow for law school. It all boils down to the debt-to-credit ratio thing. There goes my excellent credit score. Asta La vista baby!!!

As if there weren't enough reasons to hate the debt.

Did none of you apply for undergrad loans? It's the same process, for the most part minus an audit... Fill out FAFSA, wait for EFC and award letter, accept all govt loans offered to you, then await the bombardment of loan sharks trying to push student loans down your throat. Pick the lowest fixed rate, and sign on the dotted line.
