LOR's?

OK, here are my choices for LOR's.  Which three would you all use?

1.  Boss of 15 years.  President of one of our 12 business units.
2.  Lawyer and head of legal dept in my company.  Known him for 15 years or so.
3.  College academic advisor for last two years.  Supposedly good LOR writer.
4.  Professor of two legal oriented classes I've taken. I received A's and she likes me.
5.  Layer/Judge who is a neighbor and close friend for 6 years.

Any thoughts?  I am leaning towards boss, academic advisor and professor.

I think the three you're leaning towards are best.  Whatever you do, I wouldn't go for the judge neighbor.  He's your neighbor, he knows how well you keep your lawn, not how academically capable you are.

Thats sort of what I thought.  Lawyer/Judge sounds great but what real value is it?  My understanding at this point is that academic letters are to be favored.  With 25 years WE I think the boss one would be important for work ethics etc. although the inhouse counsel could write the same.  Any thoughts on inhouse counsel vs. boss?

I think I'd go with teh boss, unless the inhouse counsel guy has directly supervise your and/or is very familiar with your work.
