Smurf's Communist Leanings

Don't ask why, but my bf and I were trying to remember where the Smurf's lived the other night, and I found this website in the quest for the answer (Smurf Village).  I am sure other people have heard this theory, but for those of you like me who haven't, this is kind of interesting.  It turns out there are several websites like this.  Hmmmm.

why was there only one old smurf?  what happened to the others?

why was there only one female smurf (at first)?  Where will the next generation come from?

It kind of makes you question a lot of cartoons, and the subliminal messages they are trying to send children.

My African-American sociology teacher said that Curious George was really about trying to suppress African-American people in this country.  He explained it in a more eloquent way than I did, though.
