It is not furnished.

Here are the details.

595 a month.
650 square feet
1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen
Gas Heat, water, sewer and trash are included
I am responsible for electric, cable and internet
I pay $30 extra a month for a spot in the garage under the buiding.
2.5 blocks from the LS

I went out to Indiana expecting dirt cheap housing.  You can find that - but the places are dumps.  Poolside was by far the cleanest building - you can tell that the rental agency really looks after their properties.  I looked at at least 5 other similiarly priced places that were no where near as nice as Poolside.

I would imagine that their are good deals on 2 bedrooms near the LS if you get on them early, but I don't think that is an option for most 1L's.  After spending 4 days out there a couple weeks ago - I had no doubt that Poolside was the place for me.  --- And that Bloomington seemed like an awesome time.

*&^%, no furnishings at all? The least they can do is throw in a bed for you to sleep on. I don't want to have to move to the midwest and find a bed for an apt.  :-\

Is there a website I can check out Poolside at?  Who is it maintained by?

Yeah - look at www.cspropertymgmt.com

To warn you - it actually looks better in person than online.

I was unimpressed untill I visited.  Its not amazing or anything - but it blew away most of the college housing I saw.

But it is totally empty, not even a bed?

I did look into cable.  I forget the exact amout but I think I figured on about 70 a month between cable and internet.

I didn't see a studio, but I know that they are about 400 square feet.

floorplan for studio I see has a room of about 16x15 and then a small bathroom and kitchen.

(after relooking at the website i need to reiterate - it looks a lot better in person)

nmathe, thanks for the info.  Graduation is this weekend so I hope to get out to Bloomington sometime next week and I will definitely give Poolside a look.

EDIT: Does anyone know if the law school offers any type of parking?
