Ok, just accidentally deleted my previous post. Recap: Has anyone gotten flat-out rejected? Or are they merely accepting a few people and then moving the remaining reserve list to the summer waitlist?

i went complete this afternoon, called up and was told that i'd have to call back tomorrow to get an answer b/c my letter hadn't been signed by the dean b/c my decision "could" change. i then told the lady that just wasn't gonna work and asked if my "current" decision was good or bad. she said it was neutral so i'm gonna assume i was put on the summer wl

and so the journey continues.....

Cornell seems to not really have their act together.  I called on Tuesday to ask about scheduling interviews, which they supposedly grant to summer waitlisted applicants, and the secretary was like, "Uh, yeah, we're not sure what we're doing with that yet...I'm gonna have to check on that for you...Let me get your information and I'll call you back this afternoon."  Still no call.

Got my waitlist sometime in the last week (have been out of town) and am withdrawing. Good luck everyone who is staying on.

anyone have any idea when/if they're gonna start taking people off of the waitlist(for clarity i don't mean the "reserve" list)?  is it a rolling process or in groups?
