Where's Troy McClure???  (Basically, every voice that Phil Hartman performed was GOLD.)

Troy McClure: Hi, I'm Troy McClure.  You may remember me from such self-help tapes as Smoke Yourself Thin and Get Some Confidence, Stupid!

--------------------------------------------------
Troy McClure [in the meat-eating filmstrip in Lisa's class]: Don't kid yourself, Jimmy.  If a cow ever got the chance, he'd eat you and everyone you care about!

--------------------------------------------------
I love this thread.  :-*

That meat-eating film strip is GREAT! Like when they talk about how eating meat is nature, and they show the clip of the shark eating the gorrilla.

Seriously, I hate McDonalds, but this is going too far   >:(

Burns: "I've reviewed your 10 year evaluation, and it's appalling! In 10 years, you've caused 17 meltdowns! One is too many!"
Homer: "Yeah, but-"
Burns: "And you sold weapon-grade plutonium to the Iraqis...with no markup!"
Homer: "But-"
Burns: "And you took the Hamburglar's birthday off last Monday and Wednesday! Which is it?!"

the comet episode: classic all-around, but two of my favorite points are:

1) when skinner comes back from chasing the balloon to find that bart has just been credited with discovering a comet..."NOOOOO!!" Then he realizes the balloon got away from him again..."NOOOOO!!!!" THEN a paperboy randomly tosses a paper at his feet which says, "PREZ SEZ: SCHOOL IS FOR LOSERS."..."NOOOO!!!" I love it.

2) at the end, lisa offers that the pollution she's railed against all this time actually helped in burning up the comet. yet it is bart, and not lisa, who comes up with the more astute comment: that this was exactly what homer said would happen. Says Homer, "I know kids. I am scared too." And then they all cringe together.

i just remembered!!!

Lawyer: But what about that tattoo on your chest?  Doesn't it say, "Die
         Bart, Die?"
Bob: [conciliatorily] No, that's German for "The Bart, The."
          [The spectators laugh, understanding]
Officer: No one who speaks German could be an evil man.

FBI Agent: Now when I STEP on your foot and say HELLO MR. THOMPSON you smile and nod
<stomping on his foot> HELLO MR. THOMSON
Homer(looking confused turns to the other FBI agent): I think he's talking to you
