Drinking ticket

I'm sure some people will be able to address this...

Is an underage drinking ticket any bit of a black mark in an admissions file?  Do you have to acknowledge this on a application for all schools?

In my case I was 19 at the time, and it wasn't listed as a misdemeanor(I'm pretty sure atleast...).  It was a city ordinance violation (so like a $250 parking ticket).  But I'm not sure how to go about this on an application if they ask about records.

Anyone have a similar situation?

Don't worry about it.  I had two, one when i was 17, one when i was 19, and they didn't affect my applications in any way i could tell, i'm happy where i've been accepted.  be sure to put the offense on an addendum when you apply, though, say as little about the incident as possible, and explain briefly that you realize it was a foolish thing to do.  good luck.
