Finally got the little white envelope with the rejection...

Sorry, rajkp.  Maybe the "piece of mind" from knowing one way or another isn't as great as we all think it will be. Does this help you finalize your decision or are you still up in the air?

What would really suck is getting waitlisted at USC after waiting all this time.

No, what would really suck is getting rejected like I did today!

I'm not too bummed, since I only applied to appease my mom.

I'm tilting very strongly now toward Case Western, since I can't see myself staying in LA without the kind of job I could expect out of USC. It's just too expensive; I face $120K in debt going to Loyola but a maximum of $20K in debt going to Case.

Finally got my reject letter as well.  At least I can start looking for apartments up in Davis now.  I'll probably be withdrawing from my 4 waitlists because it seems pointless to go to a higher ranked school if I want to eventually practice in CA.

Don't worry the 163s are still safe.  I think we can expect either accepted or waitlist, but I doubt we will be rejected.

Although I can't wait anymore on a stupid waitlist.

Also, deposits are due May 26th or around then. So, if we are waitlisted, the waitlist would move relatively early.

What are your numbers?  Mine are 3.77/163.  I know what you mean...the acceptances and rejections are closing in on my numbers too.  It's just a question of which one gets to me first. They have another notification deadline for admitted students on May 28th.  Now I'm kind of thinking it's better not to hear anything until after then.
