LSADS GPA vs. school granting GPA?
« on: January 23, 2004, 11:54:55 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knows where to find one's LSADS GPA.  In lawschoolnumbers.com they ask for the LSADS GPA which is different for many people than their school granting GPA.  I dont seem to find a difference in my LSADS report for my GPA.  Thanks.

Your LSDAS GPA (LSAC-GPA) is the average of all completed (and graded or withdrew non-graded) coursework that accounts all colleges and universities (any insitution that is post high school). Used to level the playing field against all applicants.

Sometimes there will be no difference in your degree granting GPA (aka UGPA) and LSAC GPA. Due to the simple fact that you have only been to one university (or college) or all your coursework averages out evenly across the board (this a rarity but not an impossibility nonetheless). Otherwise you LSAC GPA (Or LSDAS GPA as you refer to it) shall be seen evidentially. Your case is probably that of being from one institution (no average need calculated-- therefore no difference). Hope this explains it in all of this chattering
