163 is an excellent diagnostic score...I think on the self-tested diagnostic I took, I was at a 156. I ended up with a 163 after hard-core studying (the highest I got on practice tests was a 167).

If you don't mind me asking...what is your anticipated UGPA?

I got a 164 on my diagnostic... got a 162 on the test.  so if you take kaplan and don't study enough you could end up like me!

I took Kaplan at my bosses insistence.  Diagnostic 163.  LSAT = 163.  Possibility of me jumping off bridge because of the preceding = 96%

I got a 163 on the diagnostic.  Took Kaplan.  Real LSAT 164.
I think Kaplan is only helpful if you score LOW on your diagnostic.  And even then, it's not that helpful.

This is what the aforementioned instructor told me.  They teach to the lowest common denominator and if you adopt those methods, you won't be maximizing an above average score range.

I hear Kaplan makes up their own questions, too, so you're not really getting bang for your buck there.

I don't know...I'm in a Kaplan course right now and on my first diagnostic I got a 172 and on the second I got a 180.  We'll see how the real test goes, but so far so good.

My anticipated UGPA will be around a 3.4
