good luck with that.  maybe if its only a couple of days old, and they havent offered the seat to someone else, but i would say theres not much of a chance

I hope you're trying it just for fun, because I don't think your odds are good. What school, and was there a scholarship offer originally?

My friend, in a moment of panic, did this with South Carolina.  They put him on the waiting list -- in other words, not a snowball's chance in hell.

I kind of did this with Vanderbilt.  I rejected their offer of early admission, then asked to be reconsidered and was put on the waiting list.  In other words, unless you're highly desirable... I don't see this working out too well.

thanks for the wish of good luck because it worked!

The dean emailed me this today


"We are please to inform you that we are able to extend your deadline. The new date is May 1st, 2006, We must receive your deposit in the admissions office by 5:00pm on that day. If we do not receive it by that time on that day we will assume that you have changed your mind about attending Santa Clara University school of Law"
