To get this more on topic, there are some reasons why people here complain about gas. In my area the average price per gallon is over $3.00. I think it went up five cents last night. People here live in this county, Riverside, and work in other counties, particularly LA and Orange County. This is a lot of driving, and there really are no other options to get from home to work and vice versa. This makes the price of gas very high for most people around here. Also, this place is so spread out that people can not walk to most places they go. That adds to more driving. I don't have a car and always stay home, so I don't know the exact prices and stuff like that.
