Well, I think I can say with no jealousy, do the NYU full ride. Yale rocks, this is true, but the free factor at a comparable school would be impossible to beat for me.

And I do think it has to be a HARD decision. It's like weight loss: it is as hard for a supermodel to drop 2 lbs as it may be for someone who weighs 260 to lose 80 lbs. Or, better put by Mark Twain, "Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion a child’s loss of a doll and a king’s loss of a crown are events of the same size."

Try making a decision when 4 of the 6 schools you are considering haven't said yes or no!!!

This is clearly a flame.  The people giving serious advice, and the people reacting angrily to some of the more incendiary statements... well, hey, it's your time I guess.  But that seems like a silly way to spend it.
