For out-of-towners moving in this week, please beware of the extreme heat advisory....I'm moving in today, and it's supposed to be pretty bad; however, Tues and Wed the heat index is going to be much worse (around 110 degrees.)  tener cuidado!

Yay, I'm finally here! Unfortunately, I can't sign my Lenfest lease for another hour and a half. So I'm just sitting in a campus cafe, thanking god for free wireless internet. When is everyone else arriving?

I'm moving in on Thursday. Next week should be great.

i just got this email today-

Dear Legal Methods students,
Please sign up online for a place on the seating chart.  If you haven't
already supplied a photograph to Academic Services, please do that as well.
Finally, the assignment for the first class is:
Casebook: Legal Methods, 2d ed. revised 2003
Background reading: pp 1-29, 65-72
Cases to discuss in class: Baker v. Libbie; Estate of Hemingway v Random
House, pp 73-85.
See you Wednesday morning!
Jane Ginsburg

Am I supposed to know where to do all this? She didn't give me a website or anything.  Did just my section get this?  Can you figure out anything about the rest of my classes based on who my legal methods instructor is?

I'm pretty sure that some professors sent out e-mails to their class lists, assuming we already knew what class we were in, which we won't know until Monday. That makes me sad though, since I wanted to be in Ginsburg's class and didn't get the e-mail. My contracts professor's last name is Hamburger, though. :)

allright, so I guess someone at orientation will tell us how to do stuff like this.  I was just a little worried since I haven't even got to new york yet (flying in tomarrow afternoon), and i thought i might have missed something.  how do you already know who your contracts professor is?
