I get Paul Volcker. Because when you think entertaining grad speakers, you think former federal reserve chairmen  .

Of course, he can't be much worse than the last two speakers my school had, Daniel Inouye and Lee Hamilton. Both were snoozefests from what I hear.

How do schools decide who the speaker is going to be anyway? My school has two ceremonies.

Only 2 ceremonies? My school has 4. I have NO idea who's speaking.

My graduation speaker was Archbishop Desmond Tutu. His speech was mostly mundane- until he put George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden on the same moral plain.
