I'm not entering that grad school housing lottery.  Good luck to everybody else but I can't handle the random roommate thing.  Bowling is huge in the Midwest.  Huge.

Yeah.  There is something about it on the admitted students website.  I think you might actually need it in order to enter the housing lottery.

The admitted students weekend at W+L there was just a big party.  I heard this exchange between a somewhat sloshed admitted student and a totally sloshed current student:
(looking at the agenda)  "the curriculum?  why do i give a s*it about the curriculum?  i mean, i'm probably going here anyway"
"yeah f*ck the curriculum, the more narrow you study the less chance of you getting a job"

I heard a few other funny things like that, at least it made choosing ND even easier.

How long ago did you send in your deposit check?
I'm waiting to get in the housing lottery, but I am not yet on the student directory.

I found myself in the directory too- what is up with the long email addresses?!  I'm just waiting the required 48 hours to be able to fill out the housing app.

I sent my deposit last week, so the turnaround was pretty quick.
