Thanks for the well-wishes, veganchick.  Glad to hear that your sister's doing well!

OK, I'm inducting myself.

2.97/173 - In off the waitlist at Virginia !!

Yay.

Family ties to the University helped big-time, it sounds like.

I'd like to nominate Guerito, a 2.98/173 in at GULC off the waitlist:

So I found out today that I'm in at GULC off the waitlist!!  :o ;D  When should I expect my HOF plaque?  ;)

Congrats, Guerito!

Thanks, Leoris!

My plans aren't notable.  A T2 school in my favorite city/hometown with a sizable scholarship.  I certainly didn't go HoF, but I still feel very fortunate to have gotten in anywhere!  My undergraduate record was worse than any of yours, my essays were mediocre at best, and my applications were very late.

You are far, far too humble! Your hometown isn't Chicago, is it?

I don't have a humble bone in my body, seriously.  No, I'm in NYC.
