Does anyone know which law schools in the U.S. have the best Animal Law programs?

Check out Lewis & Clark, Michigan State, and George Washington (unless it's George Mason I am thinking of).  I think that Penn just started an animal law journal.  Check out http://www.aldf.org/students.asp?sect=resources for a list of schools that have SALDF chapters as well as for those that have animal law classes.  Note:  From what I understand, animal law is an emerging field and there is always the opportunity to start a chapter of the SALDF at a school that doesn't have one or to push for animal law classes.

I am pretty sure that Georgetown has an active animal law student group. I don't know if there's one best school (maybe there is) but there are definitely schools that have one or more courses in animal law. And Lewis & Clark has (I believe) the country's only Animal Law Review.

If you're planning to focus on Animal Law, it's very important to get some grounding in animal politics BEFORE you start law school.  I would definitely recommend "Animal Farm" by George Orwell.  Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
