Hello, I am new to the board
« on: April 02, 2006, 02:51:12 PM »
Hi there

I'm new to the boards, wanted to say hi.

I am a Registered Nurse, 39 years old.  I'm planning on going to school in the fall to obtain a bachelors degree (not in nursing, though).  I want to study something else for a while.  I might major in Religion or Sociology.

I'm entertaining the thought of going to law school after that.  I did some Nurse Paralegal work in a law firm and I think being a Nurse Attorney might be better.  I know I will be in my 40s when this happens, but it's better than continuing bedside nursing at that age.  Nursing is backbreaking work.

Are there any nurses here?  Is it hard to deal with law school as an older student?  I know tuition is expensive so how do you all manage?    I know I will have more questions, and I appreciate your help.  Looking forward to meeting you all.

Z.

Most around here haven't started lawschool yet, so you probably aren't going to get any answers to your questions (not valid ones anyway).  I would post over on the students board (for current ls students).

What is a nurse attorney?

..and welcome.
