EUROTRIP 2006
« on: April 01, 2006, 06:03:16 PM »
Hey everyone. I'm officially going to Europe this summer! Whee! I'm so excited. It's through school, so I'm taking some classes. I've never been out of the country before, unless you count a trip to Tijuana when I was 12 with my dad. Here's the dealio: I'm spending most of my time in the UK, either at Glasgow or Cambridge. But on the weekends and before and after my courses there end, there's going to be plenty of time for sight-seeing and various other things. So...tell me stories about your trips to Europe and give me ideas about stuff to do. I definitely would like to see London and all the UK stuff, but what're some mainland things I can do for a couple or three days and how to get there? I'm going to visit the Netherlands and hopefully France for sure, but I'm not really sure what sorts of things there are to do there, legally-related and otherwise.

Thanks! Being a UC student is nice because you can use the travel study options at any of the campuses.

I'm going in July as well.

Spain for the first week, Italy for the last week, and the two middle weeks will probably be Paris, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam...  What about you?

Ooh, nice. Well, I'm going to be taking classes either at Glasgow or Cambridge, which means I should be all over the UK at least and Ireland. I really want to visit the Netherlands, France, and Germany, but I suspect I'll only make it to the Netherlands.
