a ding filled weekend (oregon, fl, unm)

in the last two days, denied from Uoregon, UnewMex, Uflorida.
162, B average, out of state for all. I thought I was competitive(at least at oregon and new mex), guess not though.
On a brighter note, in at seton hall even though I'm probably not gonna go to nj.

UNM rejected me too... My stats were competitive and yours are auto-admit for most average state schools. Wonder what happened.

U of O is crazy to reject you with those stats. It's a tier 3 that thinks it's a tier 1, and so has buffered its numbers to be a tier 2. You don't want to go there anyways. Did you apply to LC or Willamette?

Sorry to hear about your dings, I'm pretty sure the only think holding you back is the 162 - not saying you SHOULD retake, but if you could, and got a really good score, I bet schools like UF and UO would claw each other's eyes out to get you.

Tulane is a great school. The only problem is that it is in the Sunken City.
