Anyone going to that Mets game that the school is aparently paying for?

There's info on the school's Westlaw site under "sign up sheets"

Hmmm.. Do you know when it is?

Yep. No used copies of any of the books. Very convenient.

I told them to stuff it, and have been picking them up from a combo of half.com and amazon. The only one I had to buy new was the property casebook.

Yeah I think this is what I will do.  For UG I hated dealing with SJU's bookstore.

I signed up for it but I'm not too sure that I'm going.

I suggest that you guys check the revised booklist (it's on the Westlaw site). A few of the books listed there are different editions from those that were listed on the efollet site. Is this the case for any of the other sections?
I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then - whoosh, and I'm gone... and they'll never see anything like it ever again, and they won't be able to forget me - ever.

Im probably not looking at the right thing, but what is the deal with this pre-class reading assignment.  Is it due by the start of orientation, or by the beginning of classes?

Also, anyone try seeing what prices are like at Ed's Bookstore?  I think I'm gonna head there tomorrow and see.

The sunday BBQ is for PT students, but I believe all are welcome.  There is also a BBQ on Monday for the FT students.

The BBQ tomorrow is at 3:30 in the Solarium

All Full Time Students were told abut the BBQ, so I'm pretty sure that it's for everybody.  St John's just forgot to tell everyone when and where it was. So thanks Harvey, I'll be there.

Actually, I just checked the Westlaw website, it says it's only for Evening STudents.....but why would St John's bother sending info about it everyone else if it's  only for PT students? I think I'm gonna go anyway

It's for evening students, but all are welcome.

There is the same thing tomorrow for FTers.

Check out TWEN: we all have to take a writing test on friday. A diagnostic the 1st week...to be expected.

I just checked the updated booklist and it appears new materials have been added in the past week.

Also, for what it's worth, I actually managed to get a used casebook from the SJU bookstore...they just happened to have gotten one in when I was there.

Looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow.
