I am thinking about applying to Capital University for next fall.  I have a 3.27 GPA but a low LSAT score of 147, do u think I have a chance to get in??

Brhino692,
I applied to Capital for last year's admission cycle.  I had a 3.35 UGPA, 3.48 MBA, 147 LSAT.  I was waitlisted but supplied 3-4 additional LORs and a new PS to try and get off the waitlist.  They told me my best chance was to retake the LSAT.  I ended up getting rejected at the end of the cycle :(  Needless to say, I'm retaking the LSAT in December and hoping for better results in this application cycle.

Good luck!

iluvcats,
Did you apply anywhere else in Ohio?  I was thinking about applying to Ohio Northern as well and was wondering what my chances were of getting in there.

Hi Brhino692,
In addition to Capital, I applied to Ohio Northern, University of Cincinnati, and University of Dayton.  I was waitlisted at Ohio Northern and admittedly did not follow up with them on additional LOR's or PS's (I had a family emergency and had decided 2004 would not be my year to start law school).  So, I ended up being rejected, but then again, I did nothing to prevent that.  I was put on 'hold' at Dayton but had sent in the same LOR's and PS's that I had Capital.  They rejected me as well.  Cincinnati rejected me flat out, no waitlists.
