tuition and living expenses entirely out of loans??

Are there other people who are going to pay for all their tuition  and living expenses entirely out of  loans?
I just like to hear it, so I don’t feel like I am such an ANOMALY. Am I seriosly the only one?
I got $16,000 for the first year, but it is highly unlikely that I will have some free money the next year.

Tuition $30,000
Living expenses   $25,000

I am set on going to school this year. Either now or never. I am used to living on a budget

You are not the only one.  I am getting no free money b/c I made the mistake of having a real job before LS. 

I have about $4K saved, but that's it. 

I am lookin at about $30,000 total.

My school does not provide need-based scholarship.  Only merrit, hence the $16,000. But thats all I can expect if I dont score in top 10%. That would be nice, but hard to count on.
I am gettting the full 18,000 somethiing in federal loans. Rest of it its going to be covered from private loans.
But its nice to hear I am not the ONLY poor one here.

with my scholarship at the 18500, i'll probably need another 3-4k just to pay tuition. then i have to take out probably at least another 10 for living. sucks. i know.

Thats not bad! THat would be half of my debt.

Lots of people do it. I paid for my whole first year (including living expenses in Chicago) with a small merit scholarship and loans, both private and federal. It's going to be a huge burden to pay back. I don't regret it yet, of course I haven't started paying them back yet.

Yep, just got my financial aid "award" from Harvard today- I have to pay for it all with loans- a whopping 59,000 a year.  If any of the other schools are reading this- I WILL go to your school if you give me money!

almost 60 K a year?!?!? WOW

I'm going to have to take out about 20K a year for tuition and fees and about 12K or so for living expenses. Of course, 12K doesn't go as far in Boston as it does in Bloomington.

Depending on where I go

If I go to NYU, ~60k/yr,

I have maybe 30k in the bank, and I tend to spend money very quickly

i will be doing it all in loans, hopefuly federal, but tuition (15000) and an apartment (1150 is the cheapest i have found that is not a 200 sq ft studio - utilities included) plus i made the mistake of financing a car 2 years ago (250 a month-last payment is 6 months after i will graduate law school - which means i will pay a loan off with a loan - hows that for screwed and insurance and gas) then there is food, any related expenses such as visiting my family for christmas or other such occasions, books, always have to have health insurance for 500 a year through the school, their misc. fees and charges and i am looking at 45000 a year, may not be alot compared to the guy at 60,000, but 135,000 is a lot to me
