Buying a Gun
« on: August 03, 2004, 10:27:53 AM »
I'm moving to a rather rough neighborhood.  I want to buy a gun for home defense. Nothing crazy, but something powerful enough to either kill with one shot or put the mother fucker in a world of hurt.

Any suggestions?  Oh, I am only 155 pounds, so something without too much recoil. So no 12 guages.

Kill. If someone breaks into my home, I want to put them down for the count

Beretta 9000s.  Small but deadly.

I would go with a 44 mag.  It's very powerful and will probably make your trigger finger knuckle bleed and your wrist will probably hurt, but you only have to fire it once and he's down for the count.

Dude jut buy a machete, screw shooting them up, just take that big knife out and charge them and cut them in half.
