John Kerry and Teresa have no class

So Teresa Heinz Kerry is now declaring that another Bush term means "four more years of hell."

Her husband responded to protestors calling for four more years of Bush "goons" and declared that President Bush had sent them.

What kind of rhetoric is this? Goons? Four years of hell? This is the same man who said in an interview with Rolling Stone that Bush had "screwed up" Iraq (and don't fire off male private part Cheney as a counterexample. His quote was behind closed doors and directed at a single Senator, not at an entire administration or group of protesters. And this comment still sparked widespread outrage at the time). What is wrong with these people? If they seriously want to be the first family of the United States, is it too much to ask that they start behaving like civilized adults.

Good for them. We need more spice in our political soup. (FYI, I said 'good for him' when Cheney told Leahy to @#!* off, too.)

Well, you're consistent so I can't fault you for that.

Who cares??

Id rather have Kerry as president. Bush has proved his ineptitude.

Yes, Kerry calling protesters "goons" was much worse, than ... say ... exposing the identity of a CIA operative who happens to be the wife of a man who has voiced disagreement with the whitehouse.   ::)

Joe Wilson's credibility was more or less eradicated last month with the relese of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee report. The evidence suggests that his wife was not covert. Even if she was, there is absolutely no evidence that Bush himself was responsible for the leak.

Joe Wilson's credibility is irrelevant to the topic of his wife's status. What evidence suggests she was not covert?

I'm just confused--is this the "optimistic", non-bashing campaign that Kerry promised in his address at the DNC? Oh, wait, when politicians call for an end to attacks they really just mean an end to the OTHER side's attacks.  ::)

gimme a break - everyone knows Karl Rove sanctioned the exposure. No, she wasn't covert - but that doesn't mean it's a good idea to expose the identity of a CIA operative who isn't officially classified as covert. Geeeez - the suspension of belief some people go to to protect their favorite little leader is amazing. I'm a Democrat - Clinton was scum. Don't understand why you can't recognize the same about your own slimeball leader.

Finally, looks like we have a decent guy, a bonafide war hero, to come back to the whitehouse. GW can go back to snorting coke, DUI's, and draft dodging. He and Clinton can hang out w/ each other - two complete scumball sleazes. Clinton will bring the hookers and GW will bring the blow.

Fair point, although I'm not sure that off-the-cuff remarks to protesters say much about the general tenor of a campaign.
