Yale $$$ or Cooley PT?

Finances are important, but I really want to live in Lansing.

I heard Yale is bad for biglaw because of their academic focus. So if you want to get into that I'd go to Cooley.

Why is Yale bad for BigLaw?  Where did you hear this from?

In my opinion, you have to go to Cooley.

Five years from now, you'll be trying to pick up an attractive member of the opposite sex in a bar. After casually mentioning you're a lawyer, you'll be waiting.... waiting.... waiting.... for them to ask you where you wnt to law school just so you can suavely say,

"I went to Cooley."

If you go to Yale (or Hah-vahd).... not so much.
