Other options to be added per your suggestions ....  Except for "Kill Stan." I never really understood that one and won't add it so you can save your breath.

This is an American poll, so the only people killed will mostly be poor and nameless people of color with strange names and customs living in far away places.  Neither yourself nor Duck qualifies.  Sorry.

Nukes point - added, not sure if that counts as an accomplishment or not.
American willingness to go to war - I don't think this was ever really in question.  Nor was military supremacy of American army, or unsuitability of army for police/nation-building tasks.

the goal was to make iraq a good place smack dab in the middle of the middle east, that hasn't happened.  i still think the iraqis are (slightly) better off now without saddam, but that wasn't the goal.  i don't know who or why people thought this would be quick.  i sure didn't, although i did think there would be less US troops in iraq now than three years ago.  doesn't show much progress.

ps- also, it is easy to be soured by lies from our leaders.

yeah, that was a goal, too.  That would be incompassed in making iraq a good place (see, a good place for us more than a good place for them).

This war hasn't accomplished anything at all. It's just inconclusive all around in evey way. Noone can draw a lesson out of it of any kind that I can tell.

That's sad for the people who've died in it and for their families and friends.

what about this conclusion: if we think you actually might have a nuke (NK), we won't attack you.  if we think you don't have a nuke, we do attack you.

i think that will turn out being a false lesson.

No - it's more like "if we think you have a nuke, we can't be sure whether we think that because you do have one or because our intelligence is seriously lame, Therefore we can't really accuse you in public of having one and couldn't build a coalition against you, because, well, who'd believe us unless you 'fessed up to it yourself"

also, our intelligence is still lame.  how sad is that?

Very lame, but not surprising. Nobody gives a damn.

greg palast argues that the war accomplished bush's mission, by tripling the profits of the top oil companies.

no no no, it's kill DUCK!

has it accomplished anything?

it's shown that:
1. the united states is willing to go to war
2. the united states will kick your government's ass
3. the united states will get bogged down in the insurgency that arose due to poor post-war planning
4. the united states will therefore allow other countries to get away with building nukes without a viable threat of repercussions
5. yeah
6. kill duck.

Yeah and I like tacos. I voted the bottom one. It was the funniest, followed by the second from the bottom.
