KU Tier 1? + Ranking Issues
« on: March 24, 2006, 10:03:28 AM »
I guess University of Kansas is Tier 1 according to U.S. News for 2006. So is Marquette. Hm...don't here of these places much. Would one be better off going to one of these schools vs. Depaul because they are higher ranked. Depaul has a decent rep though.

Probably not if you want to practice in Chicago but if you want to practice in Kansas or somewhere else in that part of the midwest I'm sure KU would be a good choice.

I don't know about law school, but for Undergrad USNWR re-arranged the tiers so that Top Tier included, generally speaking, the Top-100. The next group was Tier-3 and that was up to 150 or 175. And then Tier-4 was the rest of schools.

I think they eliminated Tier-5 because they made Tier-3 bigger and just put the rest in Tier-4. They did that instead of separating each tier by 50.
