It's not much to look at. In the auditorium, the seats are purple "velvet" and there's ashtrays on the back.

You should see the undergrad i came from we were lucky to have working toilets in the buildings.

U of H, here I come!!  I'm pumped, I really wish I could go to the admitted student day too but like others I'm stuck in class.  I have walked around the building when no one was there during spreak bring though, and I didn't find it to be in too bad of shape.  Just a little old looking I suppose.

I had heard horror stories about the neighborhood around it, and although it did seem pretty run down it didn't live up to the hype, as I saw no robberies in progress or gang fights.  Honestly, it wasn't very bad, I work with in a poor area of Lubbock right now and UH campus isn't nearly as bad of an area, so I wouldnt worry about it.  Also the actual law school is on the other side of campus by the freeway, so there's no homes anywhere near it anyway.

Does anyone have any ideas on where they will be living?  I've started to wonder about this, as I don't want to live far from campus b/c traffic, but not right near campus either.  Maybe downtown, does anyone have any thoughts?
