On the priority waitlist, any different than a normal waitlist?

I was deferred earlier and am now on the waitlist... however, I will not be accepting a spot. I'm not waiting for UVa to make a decision, I'll make my own..

In-state resident priority waitlist for me. Finally.

I think I'm going to accept a spot on the waitlist. In the meantime, I'm already making preparations to go to W&M. Too tired of UVA to make a serious effort to wait for a final final decision.

It's not like I'll be accepted from WL anyway.

deferred earlier, first I've heard since December.

Arbiter, I'm in same boat, W&M is where I'll probably end up. You going on the 1st?

I'm not going because I already know I'm going there. GW, W&L are not giving me money, and I have no intention of going to schools that are going to cost as much or more than UVA but is of inferior quality. At least W&M for me is dirt cheap.

If I get accepted off of the WL or get into Duke... things will be thrown into the air, but I think for the most part, I'll be sticking to my guns and going to W&M. Leaving LS with only $30k debt for all three years (folks are covering the other $30k) is an enormous boon in itself.

But I'm not smilin about it...
