The paper is for poli sci- I'm supposed to be testing the hypothesis that as SCOTUS leans toward a certain ideological direction (ie a shift to the conservative side through the Warren and Burger eras) litigants will react by bringing increasing conservative case facts to the court- "pushing the envelope," as it were. A similar study was done on the National Labor Relations board, but no one's really looked at SCOTUS yet. Anyhoo, I'm looking at double jeopardy cases in the Warren/Burger courts.
We shall see- could be a total tank, but I suspect the standards are not so high. My class brings new shame to the term "pre-law." *sigh*

I fail to understand why anyone would put something in their mouths which so strikingly resembles maggot-ridden pus.
