i repeat: most people of any color would prefer hiring someone that looks like them and since white people do most of the hiring in this country it hurts minorities.

so you dont think it is human nature to want to be more comfortable around people that are like you?  fine. i disagree and in that respect i think that to some extent every human being is at least a little racist. the problem arises in the disproportionate ammount of power that white people have. dont tell me that power is distributed evenly amongst the races.
