What does it take--and where should one start?

With this "upwardly mobile" cohort I'm assuming there will be some of us in competition for those coveted Journal editorial positions.  Since we have some time before the battle begins, what will it take to get there? This is not a mundane request for "well, read and write" answers, talking specifics here, but maybe that's a utopian request for the coveted facts.

Applying to law school--nope thats not it.
LSAT-not an LSAT Q.
Deciding where to go-I'm not deciding.
Accepted and decideded 1Ls-neither of those
Specific groups and issues-not about urm, aa, mt, non-trad. or Canada
Book exchange-trying to make it about idea exchange
Generally saw "off topic" and figurd it was off topic

meta usually is associated with a designation of new but dealing with the original.  I guess "original" in this case could just mean LSD as the board itself-in that case I'm in the wrong and I apologize.  But I figured the original to be LAW SCHOOL-and this seemed to be an interrelated question.
You see that # next to my avatar?  25 is it...oh, so maybe I'm trying to figure out how this site works, but rather than be intimidated by making a mistake I prefer to ask the questions.  And since your wise and all knowing...where then oh omnipotent one shall I proceed to place questions like this in the future?

when did you leave here?

I am busy or it would be faster.  Nobody can compete with me in terms of posts.

I left here right before the day of the February lsat, which I chose not to take.
