I haven't gone a tour, but I've been to the campuse.  It's near Staples Center in downtown, has kind of a modern architectural feel, but it didn't strike me as particularly comfortable.  It doesn't have a 'university' kind of feel, which is part of what turned me off about it.  However, if I were going to a part-time program, or I was financially/personally  unable to do the traditional university experience, it would be a nice option.  What specifically do you want to know?

I actually went to visit this past monday.  The law school was much better than I ever imagined.  The campus is small but cozy.  Frank Gehry designed the campus.  It's right near the heart of downtown L.A.  The professor that talked to us after the tour was amazing.  I could tell that she was one of the best professors at LMU.  Go visit the law school if you get the chance.  I got accepted into Minnesota, LMU and Pepperdine.  Before the visit I didn't even consider LMU, but now it's right up there with Minnesota if I don't get accepted into USC.

it was designed by frank gehry (which means my next comments are obvious). http://www.publicartinla.com/sculptures/loyola.html

its ugly. it is a fortress. it is cold. it looks like my high school.

The pix from your link look really cool. Do you hate modern architecture?

Loyola is the third best school in LA, but it has really good placement in SoCAL and has produced some really great litigators like Jonnie Cochran and Mark Geragos. I have also visited the campus (I live in LA) and I had an awesome experience there.

95% sure it's where I'll be going. Though if Southwestern gives me a scholarship, I may end up there. I don't know...
