0.5L reflections

Maybe this is a topic for the law students' board, but I thought it might be interesting, (if there are any 1Ls out there who care to share) to post our first semester experiences.

I found that law school was pretty much what I expected it to be - a lot of work but pretty interesting.  The socratic method took a bit of getting used to, but now I'm pretty comfortable with it.  Exams are still around the corner, so I don't have much input on those.  I never read OneL so I can't say if that's a good representation.

Anyone else care to share?

i found law school first semester (columbia) to be just what i had wanted it to me.-- challenging and stimulating, and less of what i had dreaded --competition, mean profs... Overall I'd say don't worry too much about it.  Forget about trying to prepare like they tell you to in Planet Law School etc... just work hard and you will do fine.
