$16k a year for me. There was no mention of dean's scholarship on initial acceptance letter.

I just got back from spring break to find I got 15K a year. Totally not expecting it, my numbers are lower than everyone else in this thread. They must have a smarmy Jew quota to fill. Your move, Penn/Cornell/GULC/Nwestern

16K for me, even though I didn't ask for any money (and wasn't named a Dean's Scholar originally).
Decision made: Harvard Law School '09 (or '10 if I defer)

I also did not hear about the scholarship until today. $17k/year. Congrats to the rest of you!

jdoe - i believe it's just a year residence in the state (maybe paying taxes here) ... a girl at my office moved to va last summer, and will be starting ls there as a resident in august.  you should call them tho, or it might be on their website.

hth  :)

VA tends to be trickier than many of the other states.  (silly commonwealth.)  Working & paying taxes there, registering a car there, having your drivers' license there, voting there....you need as many boosters as possible to indicate a vested interest in/commitment to the commonwealth.  I don't think residing there for law school is generally enough, by itself.
Work, and a PT online MLIS.  Reapply down the line.
