Wellesley/Georgetown
or
Wellesley/Boalt

I am definitely a prestige ho. But not as conservative/prissy as many of my UG compatriots. And too much of a slacker for the top 5, apparently. :P

One of my east coast friends told me the other day, "At Berkeley, they teach you make-believe...that you live in a make-believe world. After awhile, you start to believe it. If you try to leave northern cali after you graduate, you're screwed."

Heh.

As of right now, I have two choices:

1. NYU/Miami
2. NYU/Alabama

Which is one is better?

NYU/Miami has a nice ring to it. I think everyone would expect the male combo to walk in wearing a Gucci suit with his hair slicked back and the top couple of buttons unbuttoned haha. If it was a girl, she'd walk in with a tan and look like a supermodel/beach girl.

I hope I get to interview a girl with the NYU/Miami combo sometime. She sounds great...

Gucci suits but no slicked back hair...

Right now I'm leaning toward Notre Dame, so it would be Indiana University/Notre Dame, which isn't that exciting, but then you stick in my wondrous 4th tier master's degree and it looks a lot more disparate - Indiana University/University of South Florida/Notre Dame.

Hmm.... Cornell/UMICH -- I really have a thing for large land grant schools.

or

Cornell/Northwestern --- I really like bad football. Could be true for Umich too, lol.
In:Northwestern, Emory, Temple ($$), Wash. U($$), Michigan($$$)! Cornell
Out: Columbia
Wait: GULC, NYU.

Northwestern no longer sucks at football, actually.  If you want bad Big Ten teams, Indiana and Illinois are the best bets.  They always suck.

I'm not quite sure yet, and I really never know how people react to an American McGill grad, since I'm thinking alot of people outside of the northeast have never really heard of it (or at least thats the impression I get. When I tell people on the street I go to McGill, 60% have never heard of it, and the other 40% have an uncle's sisters stepson who have gone... People in academia are a different story, obviously)

So my choices:

McGill/American: Definitely into International stuff
McGill/(Rutgers/Seton Hall):  Got her education Cheap
McGill/Indiana: is she crazy?

and my reaches/prayer schools (I think there is a ring to them both ;))
McGill/ND: very concerned with human rights (if you knew my UG degree is in International Development)
McGill/W&M: She was obviously tired of Canadian winters...

I was bored at work so did print outs with different schools w/ "JD expected" under it with my UG for my resume... I like the Northwestern & Maryland combination the most for whatever reasons.

my life is so exciting as you can see.  8)
