What does your choice of undergrad insitution and your first choice for law school say about you? What kind of stereotypes does it put in the mindset of your peers? And how do you think employers will view the combination?

For instance, if someone went to Harvard/Chicago.. obviously it's someone that's driven academically. Probably someone in-line to become the next President haha.. And since they chose Chicago, they might be a little more on the conservative side of the spectrum. Probably came from a pretty well-to-do family in the mid-west or northeast.

Also, throw in what you think employers will think of when they see the combination.

If you think this is lame, sorry -- I just thought it might be interesting.

Alright, I'll put my UG and my first-choice: SMU/Ole Miss

My UG/LS combination is going to preclude me from ever finding a job anywhere outside of Texas.

And that's all right by me.

What's your UG? Tech for law school, I assume you're going there since you were accepted, right?

I think Berkeley / Chicago (my most likely combo) is interesting.  No one will be able to figure out my politics!

Temple / Temple...

Hmmm...

It'll probably indicate that I'm cheaper than the average bear!

And that I love my hometown.

I think it'd be interesting if people who haven't posted gave their opinions of those that stated their degree combinations. Kind of gives you an example of how other future lawyers will perceive you and how employers might stereotype you upon glancing at your resume.

For you... I'm gonna guess this: You're from the mid-west. Your parents emphasized education in your upbringing. You felt as though you were a little more socially liberal than where you grew up so you wanted to go someplace where you could experience a different environment but still attain an oustanding academic degree. You enjoyed your experience at Berkley, but you're looking for someplace a little more consistent with your own beliefs for law school.

Am I right? or way off?

No-name, military-related UG/Georgetown =
"Maybe crack *can* make you smarter..."
"Remove the chain, cause' that's off it!"

Acceptances: Georgetown ("off da' chain!")
That is all...

As of right now, I have two choices:

1. NYU/Miami
2. NYU/Alabama

Which is one is better?
