lol waffling right before classes start? i'll still think over this decision tomorrow--i can still get it off on time...but once sat passes, then i can delete all my syr files, pics of apts, etc etc etc...well maybe ill keep pics and post them for everyone here....but, still, i think at that point it will end.....BTW, will people not wear shirts from schools they are not going to now? remove window stickers?

I got two shirts and two stickers (Syracuse and Case). I never put either sticker on my car, but I'm bringing my Syracuse sticker down to my parents' in NJ so I can put it on my new (inherited from Dad) car that I get to drive back this weekend. And I'm not going to stop wearing the Case shirt to bed or to workout or whatever - a free t-shirt is a free t-shirt. :)

I think we'll both be feeling a lot better once Saturday comes around and we're stuck with our decisions for good.

Chonralda, congrats on your decision! I was just curious what apartments you looked at, and which ones were your favorites, i'm going apartment hunting next weekend! Any info you have would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!!

Hey,

I visited SU on 4/7 and found an apartment that day.  I went to Carriage House Apartments, its a short walk through the cemetary.  Coming from Chicago the apartment was basically free 580 a month for a one bedroom.  The apartments are something 730 square feet with balconies with heat included.

P.S. anyone not using their SU window sticker? if so, can I have it? they sent me the tshirt but no sticker.

After attending an admitted students event and contemplating my financial situation, I'm giving a lot more weight to Syracuse than before...My biggest concern is the job prospects coming out of Syracuse - Anyone from Syracuse (or committed to Syracuse) want to ease my fears?  ;)

If you're in at Villanova, I would have to say go there. Even if money is an issue, I know Vill is way pricy, I think that you'd come out with much better job prospects from Vill as opposed to SYR, esp in the Penn. region. Even in NY, SYR is near the bottoms and competes with So many other high powered schools

I was afraid somebody was going to say that...  ;)

It seems like it's almost unanimous in favor of Villanova being the smarter option, but man, that debt scares me - Plus, I really wasn't too enamored with the school when I visited. *Sigh*
