Handwritten Note with GWU acceptance?
« on: March 07, 2006, 10:04:19 AM »
Hey all, I was just wondering if the handwritten note at the bottom of the acceptance letter was standard procedure wtih all the GWU (full or part time) acceptances?  I thought it was really nice.

It is really nice.  The new dean must have started doing it.  I applied last year and didn't get a hand written note.  However, this year (I deferred so they still send a new acceptance letter), I got the nice little handwritten, personalized note.  It definately brightened my day  :).

We're not accepting this CHANGE UP in the rules. Period. American presidents have been in the bed with organized crime, corporate pilferers, and the like for years. And all u want to put on this man is that his pastor said "Gotdamn America?" Hell, America.U got off pretty damn well, if you ask me...

I got one this year PT. It was my highest-ranked handwritten note!

Mine said that my record at Williams College was "extremely impressive"

Ummm...I had to withdraw after my freshman year, was on Academic Probation, and finished with a 3.09.

I did go to Williams, though.
