Advice? GWU vs. UNC, W&M

I'm really attracted to international law and environmental law, but also may want to stay connected to N.C. state politics.  Haven't decided whether or not I want to practice in N.C. (I'm here currently) but know I definitely will be working afterwards in D.C., Virginia or NC area.

Financial aid packages may play a role in the decision, but I'd love input on anyone on factors like reputation (I think I get a skewed perception where I'm from), social life, atmosphere, opportunities after grad, academic programs, etc.

Current choices are William and Mary ($$), George Washington and UNC.  And then there's the prayer for a waitlist move at UVa.

As for international, W&M is pretty big on that, apparently inventing the American summer law program abroad. Also, a professor held a Iraqi Special Tribunal Clinic where students served as law clerks for the DoJ in bringing up charges against Hussein (got them an appearance on CNN).

UNC is a great platform for jumping into NC politics, if I'm not mistaken.
