omg. so that probably means everyone they told to wait for their letters got dinged! i wonder if they could be hiding decisions as well with the people they told were still under review.

I don't think they accept people by mail, but if they said you were still in review then you should believe them until you hear otherwise.  Good Luck

Don't buy that..you still have hope. My decision from Virginia was mailed the same day as many others who got dinged..I got in yet others who expected dings didn't. Don't put your stock with others.

well i'm reseigned to live in my bubble and hope that a miracle will happen- my suggestion is that we all just wait until next week, which seems to be the time set by boalt (both through the experiences of individual callers on this board and from the numerous articles published about the e-mail mishap) to let people know.  Remember, there are still around 300 seats that were not filled as of last week, so phone calls/e-mails may still be on their way

Re: 300 seats... Is that based on LSN, or do you have another source?  I wonder what percentage of applicants post on LSN, and which ones are more likely to - those with higher or lower numbers?
GPA: 3.78
LSAT: 166

i think those with higher numbers are more likely to. i've heard that said before too. i dont know why... maybe they are just the kind of people that are more motivated and involved with the whole process.

Well, I just called and I've been dinged, also.  It wouldn't be so bad except this is my second ding today (chicago)!  Oh well, I guess I'm headed out east.

I just looked at your LSN. No safeties huh? why not?

Yeah, I suppose BU is the closest thing I have to a safety.  I have no desire to go to a "safety" school.  I sort of went that route for undergrad and now I want a big name with big salary prospects.  Plus, another year at my current job wouldn't kill me.  Have you been accepted anywhere yet?
