panic
« on: January 04, 2004, 12:19:15 PM »
I applied to six schools in Ohio, after deciding to apply late, meaning my applications weren't complete until just recently, and haven't heard back yet.  I'm in a massive state of panic, because I hate the waiting.  I also have anxiety over whether all my numbers are good enough!  Just looking for sympathy or to hear someone else complain.

I feel your pain---I know my numbers aren't all that hot, and I'm worried beyond belief. I don't even think i'll get into some of the worst schools in the U.S. So-you aren't alone! I know all the law schools in Ohio very well--I would only worry about Ohio State and Cincinnati.

Those are the ones I'm worried about.  I just want to know, either way, it's the waiting that's getting to me.  I feel like my scores aren't good enough, I have a 163 and a 3.67.  Good Luck!

It sounds like you will get in no problem with those scores! And thanks--I need it.

I'm sure that you'll do just fine.  Where all did you apply?

I applied to all the Ohio schools  except Ohio State, Cincinnati, Ohio Northern and Cleveland. I also applied to:
Northern Kentucky, Texas Southern
Roger Williams, Florida State
Florida Coastal, Thomas Cooley

I have almost 3 years experience in the legal field, excellent LORs and an imressive personal statement--but I think most people do. We'll see!

If anything, you will get into Florida Coastal (if you have not already)  ;)

I applied to Capital, OSU, Toledo, and Florida Coastal.  I figured if I end up having to go out of state to go to school, I might as well go somewhere nice and warm.

Valerie-I'm sure that you'll get into some of those.  You should apply to Ohio Northern.  They aren't a bad school and they don't have strict requirements, although I'm sure your scores aren't that bad.
