I wrote my essay about how i wanted to be a public service lawyer and then didnt apply for any scholarships since as an in state resident it wasnt that much to go there and I was busy and not very well organized. Anyway they sent me an email urging me to apply for the gates scholarship right before the deadline for it passed and i didnt apply and then about a week after the deadline for the scholarship I got rejected which I think is the main reason i got reject since as an washington resident with the numbers I had I should have at least been waitlisted. I actually thought I would get in easily. Did anyone else get an email about applying for the scholarship or apply and get denied
