Accepted at Syracuse!

Just wanted to get a thread started for everyone here who is considering attending Syracuse. This way we can compare notes/plans. I for one am waiting on a few things, but barring a miracle, it looks like I'm heading to Syracuse. I'm super excited and looking forward to meeting future/potential classmates.

Congradulations on the acceptance. Where else did you apply? Are you going to be taking a visit? I can't go any of the admitted student days because of school, but I'm going myself during spring break. (March6-8th) I'll be sure to post what I think. I sent them an e-mail and then they replied saying I could meet with a professor, take a tour, and get to sit in on a class. It should be good, It'll also most likely still be cold/snowing, so I’ll get to see what the "real" weather is like.

I graduated from penn state this past December.  I am going to visit on the first visitor day program--march 31.  I am "wardwilliams" on lawschoolnumbers.com if you wanna see what other schools i applied to.  Basically I will decide b/w cuse and duquesne; if i should happen to get into nova or psu i will prob. go there
good luck to you too.  the weather is brutal i hear at cuse, they get ridiculous amounts of snow.  i hear the campus is nice but the surrounding area isnt that great

My visit isn’t until March 6th through the 8th. So sometime soon after that I will post a very detailed recount.  Hopefully you and some others will find it useful.

Thanks for that input, even "moderated" snow is going to be a shock to me coming from Ft. Lauderdale. I'm not too sure about the neighborhoods but I'm considering living in the downtown area, maybe armory square, so I can get a taste of city lifestyle, to see if that’s for me. I'm pretty excited about going to see it, and possibly (probably) attending. I also saw this special on the discovery channel the other night about domes, and they mentioned the carrier dome as being designed by this famous architect, it was interesting.
